Superyacht Crew Wages

So what will you earn while working on a Superyacht?

Wages in the industry vary according to the size of boat you work on as well as the position you hold, how long you have been onboard, and the amount of experience you have. Wages will also vary between motor yacht and sail yachts and between private and charter yachts. There are no set wages in the industry, the following are guidelines only and you may end up earning more or less than the wages specified.

As part of your employment package you should also receive all food, board, and uniform. With no overheads your wages are yours keep or spend as you like. You will also receive 4-6 weeks holiday a year with return flight home, and health and accident insurance.

You will receive your salary tax free and you will be responsible for your own tax affairs. Tax laws vary from country to country and it is best to seek advice from a specialist in your country of residence.
